Temporarily Taking a Temporary "Holiday"

My fiance and I are going on a "holiday" of sorts.

Unfortunately, it is because we are having our apartment exterminated this Friday at noon. And our holiday unfortunately is sandwiched in a evening between two full days of work. What a holiday!

So, at the moment you will be seeing less of me, as I will be battling the beg bugs in our apartment until they are gone and I no longer receive bites of love which leave giant welts on my legs and back. I should post pictures. They are pretty awesome. One of them this morning even sprouted a bubble of fluid... ok, too much information.

At the moment, I feel as though I am taking it each moment at a time. I've never lived so in the moment in my life, I think. It is almost zen like, knowing that I am going somewhere but not concerning myself about anything but reading a lovely book while traveling on, one destination to the next.

So, here is to hoping to see you soon, bug free.

A-Z Challenge Reflection

I am going to treat this reflection as a little imagine interview! Since Lee posed the questions, I'll answer them as if he were interviewing me on my blog. Thanks Lee!
  • What attracted you to the Blogging From A to Z April Challenge?
I was initially attracted Lee's enthusiasm to bring members of the blogging community together. Also, I wanted some inspiration and motivation to write in my blog everyday.
  • Did you feel intimidated by the Challenge?
No, I just knew that I would have to commit some time to writing everyday on my blog. I've had to sacrifice other things to do that too, and I'm not sure how I feel about that yet but I'm thinking about that as I write right now...
  • Did you ever feel like quitting?  What kept you going?
Definitely when I received a new job right at the end of the challenge. However, I forged onward. I know that I did not do one or two letters because I simply couldn't make the time as I was juggling three different jobs by the end of the challenge, but I really really wanted to finish because I had made it all the way to D (as I was going backwards!) and wanted to make it to A! And I did it. I'm glad I did, because I enjoyed writing that last post.
  • What do you think was your biggest contribution to the Challenge?
I think maybe biggest contribution isn't the way to put it. I think I made a lot of little contributions in the way of thoughtful comments on other blogger's websites that helped me make new acquaintances.
  • In finishing this challenge, will you be more apt to try other blogging or writing challenges (e.g.--NaNoWriMo)?
I would definitely be up to it. I never knew there were challenges until this challenge so I can't say I wasn't up to it before this one because I had no idea that they existed!
  • Do you feel you did your best in the Challenge?   What could you have done better?
I definitely do feel like I did my best. I wish I could have finished more strongly but know that I did my best with my time constraints. I also think that I contributed some very nice and interesting subjects to the challenge, but maybe I could have been a little more creative.
  • Will you be blogging any more now than you used to?
 I hope so!

Thanks for your fake interview, Lee, and I'll be seeing you all around.
